FED:The Blackberry light is a threat

CANBERRA, Feb 25 AAP - The flashing light on politicians' taxpayer-funded Blackberries
could cause accidents, a senator has warned.
Senator Stephen Parry wants to turn the light off, but he says politicians are not
allowed to because of an order from the secretive Defence Signals Directorate.
"The light is exceptionally dangerous at night," Senator Parry told a Senate estimates hearing.
The Tasmanian says he does a lot of night time driving and the light is a distraction.
