The largest high school in Section II still hasn't named a boys' basketball coach, with the season right around the corner.
Basketball practice opens Monday, Nov. 8, but Shenendehowa High still is looking to fill one of the higher-profile positions in Section II, two months after it became vacant. Kevin Curtin, who replaced longtime coach Jim Zullo (28 years) last season, resigned in August because he couldn't get a teaching job in the Shenendehowa school system.
Shen athletic director Matt Jones posted the job internally, then opened it to outside applicants. The Times Union has learned that Jones offered the job …
